Outside DirectorsJeff Crisan - Director, Bain Capital Ventures and Company Director Jeff Crisan is a director at Bain Capital Ventures, one of the nation's leading venture capital firms. The company is the Boston-based venture capital arm of Bain Capital, whose affiliates manage over $45 billion of assets. Founded in 1984, Bain Capital and its affiliates have invested in over 230 companies, and have a history of investing in early-stage and other high growth companies. Bain Capital Ventures was formed in 2001 to focus exclusively on growth investments. In his role with Bain Capital Ventures, Jeff invests in promising healthcare and technology companies. Jeff currently sits on the Boards of EyeTel Imaging, Liberty Dialysis, Nanosphere and Solarwinds. Past investments that Jeff collaborated on with Bain Capital Ventures include such companies as Brontes Technologies, MinuteClinic, ProfitLogic and Taleo. Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Jeff worked at Bain Capital Private Equity, focusing primarily on technology and healthcare buyouts, including software, semiconductors, telecommunications, business services and healthcare services. At Bain Capital Private Equity, Jeff participated with the company in a number of investments, including Integrated Circuit Systems, Stream International, TravelClick and Eschelon Telecommunications. Prior to Bain Capital, Jeff was a consultant with Bain & Company where he worked with over a dozen clients in both the U.S. and Europe. Jeff received an M.B.A with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa in Mathematics and Government from Dartmouth College.
